Marla and I are having a blast with our cooking get-togethers. We basically both pick out a couple of recipes or recipe ideas, and proceed to make a mess in the kitchen together, while our husbands eagerly await for the results. We end up with 4 or 5 dishes that we all share, tapas style.
Serious discussion ensues. Too spicy? Personally, I’ve never heard of such a thing, but it has been mentioned. Too salty? Sometimes it’s better to measure than eye-balling it. Wow–fresh mint is what makes this dish pop. Recipe here! Do you think bacon is really necessary in this dish? Oh wait, that was just me. I think everyone else voted for more bacon.
We decided we needed a title . . . an easy phrase to use when referring to these events. Whole food = brain food. After testing out new recipes and filling our bellies with delicious food, it hit us.
Marla and Michelle . . . Taste Testing Tapas
The math teachers within us needed to clean that up a bit. M²T³.
So there you have it. We are excited to announce M²T³ Events. They will be continuing! Most likely rather randomly (mid- to end-July for the next one). But we’ll be excited to share them with you. :)

Thursday’s M²T³ Event Menu
- Thai-inspired Veggie Nori Maki (see below)
- Raw zucchini noodles with Sun-dried Tomato Sauce
- Lightly Seasoned Bison Burgers served with Bella Buns or Almond Buns

Spread the almond butter and wasabi onto nori. Add julienned veggies and roll ‘er on up! Serve with Tamari Sauce (or Coconut Aminos to be completely Primal/Paleo).
Until next time . . .

mmmm everything looks delicious!!!
I adoreeeeeeeeee bison/buffalo burgers!! and The nori rolls and guac and zuke noodles and kale action…………well, I’d be all over that! sounds like you and Marla have a great time together!
I LOVE bison. It is leaps and bounds better than beef. Leaps and bounds more expensive too, but whaddayagonnado, right?
Although I do have to say, if you buy directly from the source, and in bulk, it’s really not that bad! I agree, bison is sooooo much better!
I love this idea! I think I’m going to start doing this with my friends…it’s summer session and we all have kitchens and extra time
And that cucumber salsa looks delicious and refreshing! I’ve never thought of doing that before, I’ll have to try!
Thanks, Leanna! We really are having a great time with it!
