Friday’s Five!
TGIF!!! Let’s get right to it! Here are 5 fun and/or interesting things from the week:
Eek–I almost broke my food processor!
That’s right. The appliance I’ve only had since July. It almost died on me.
But it would have been for a good cause. It would have been in the name of homemade almond butter.
One of the first things I tried with the food processor was peanut butter. It was awesome! You could really taste how fresh it was. Amazing.
Homemade Creamy Peanut Butter
We eat nut butters on a daily basis around here. Not only do they taste delicious, but they are a good source of protein and healthy fat. We stick to buying the all natural varieties.
I don’t know what took so long for me to do this! It turns out making it yourself doesn’t take much time and is very easy. It’s also cheaper than what you find at the store, especially if you can buy the nuts from the bulk food section of your grocer.
